I wanted to put something here on my blog for those who have
come to read it regularly. What I have given is more stream of conscious and
list like in its content. I have a tendency to waffle between a witnessing mode
where thoughts are clearly defined and a study mode where my mind is attempting
to understand how all these individual lessons are in fact one. The following
is more outline for a section of a book about true redemption life that I am
believing YHWH will work through me before I leave this present place as a gift
unto all believers. I know it is choppy but in my present mindset it is all I
have to offer…may the Spirit of truth teach you all things.
My people are destroyed for a lack of
seeing
(1) The wisdom
of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour. The heart
knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.
The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright
shall flourish. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end
thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14: 8-12
(2) Hear the
word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with
the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor
knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and
stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall
languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the
fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another:
for thy people are as they that strive with the priest. Therefore shalt thou
fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I
will destroy thy mother. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because
thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no
priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget
thy children. Hosea 4:1-6
(3) And Moses
came and told the people all the words of the Lord, and all the judgments: and
all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the Lord
hath said will we do. Exodus 24:3
Trusting the life of I AM in us(
if we have trusted in His redemption)
(a) The
blindness is not a lack of visual acuity but of perceiving the truth
(b) Just as
Israel did at the giving of covenant most today see the things taught as
regulations and standards to be submitted to. The thought is that a desire and
determination to do right will make righteousness within. In short an improving
of the life at work in them.
(5) Count the
cost…submission to YHWH excludes submission to oneself…His life is not added to
ours or strengthening ours. Our life must end in Messiahs death on the cross;
the life found in us must be his life generating in us as He has promised…all
we can do is trust He has said truth…believing YHWH is able is not the same as
believing he is active.
Separating between the soul and
Spirit
(a) There is a
good deal of confusion about the difference between soul and spirit and
definitive explanation seems to elude us.
(b) The soul
is catalyst which takes the form and substance of the world around us and
converts it to a usable form by which we have existence.
(i) The
scriptures say the life of the unredeemed is in the blood. It is the blood that
carries the air and food in a usable form to the whole body through which we
exist.
(ii) The
philosopher Descartes said I think
therefore I am but go ten minutes without air and the fallacy becomes obvious.
(iii) Some
confuse the spirit with being the conscious; thoughts, motives, emotions are
simply equations by which the dynamic between soul and spirit are quantified by
us. The consciousness is therefore simply a part of the soul.
(c) The spirit is the energy both driving and
created by the interactions of all substance and form
(i) An
illustration of these things can be seen in the process of nuclear fission.
When we look at the physical reactions taking place; we look at the soul. When
we look at the energy released by these actions; we are looking at the spirit.
The way we explain what we have witnessed is our consciousness…E=MC2.
(d) Most
have a conception that it is the soul and the spirit in man that is impossible
to to separate; however in truth it is the body and soul that are codependant
When Adam chose to be a self he
became self-sufficient; however he soon realized that his self was not
sufficient.
He was
mandated to be a multiplier of Elohim’s image and likeness; he became instead a
subtraction, a consumer. From the time Adam (both he and all that came forth
from him) was deemed a self every attempt to bring forth has consumed from the
substance of things both around and from him.
